B2B business development

We find the opportunities. You close the business.

The companies that need what you sell already exist. KaluConnect works with a small number of B2B companies at a time — researching your market, reaching the people who make the decision, and handing over opportunities with the context to act on.

The situation

Good companies lose work to whoever called first.

Most B2B businesses are excellent at what they do and short on time for everything that comes before the work. The gap is rarely capability — it's who got in front of the buyer while you were busy delivering.

Shared lead platforms

The same request goes out to four vendors at once. You pay per lead and compete on price before anyone has said hello.

Referrals only

Reliable, but you can't turn them up when you need them. Growth arrives on someone else's schedule.

Hiring a salesperson

Six figures plus ramp time, and you find out whether it worked twelve months later.

Unpredictable growth

Strong months and empty ones, with no way to know where next quarter's work is coming from.

Nobody has time to prospect

Outreach happens between jobs, when it happens at all. Busy quarters kill it entirely — and you feel that three months later.

A vendor that didn't deliver

You paid for six months, got contacts with no context, and closed none of them. Now the whole category feels like a risk.

How it works

Four steps between your commercial profile and a booked conversation.

Everything runs by email and shared documents. No standing calls, no dashboards to learn.

STEP 01

We learn your commercial profile

A short intake form covers the markets you serve, the work you want more of, the deal sizes worth your time, and how much new business you can realistically take on. That form is the whole setup.

STEP 02

We build the account list

We research the companies in your market that match that profile, then narrow the list to the ones with a plausible reason to be looking right now — and identify who inside each one actually makes the call.

STEP 03

We open the conversation

Outreach goes out under your company's banner, with follow-up handled on a schedule. Replies get read, sorted, and answered — the ones going nowhere are closed out quietly.

STEP 04

You get the handoff

When someone is genuinely interested, you receive a one-page brief: who they are, what they need, who to talk to, and everything that was said. You take it from there and close it your way.

The pipeline

A lot of research turns into a few real conversations.

Each stage narrows the one above it. The volume sits at the top, where the work is — so that what reaches you at the bottom is worth your time.

What you receive

Not a contact list. A conversation that's already started.

Every handoff arrives in the same format, whatever the industry, so you know exactly what you're looking at before you pick up the phone. Below is the structure of a brief.

Context, not just contacts

A name and a number tells you nothing. The brief tells you why they're looking and what they've already said.

The person who decides

Whoever signs off in that industry — identified before the conversation starts, not three calls in.

Never shared

An opportunity goes to one client and one only. You are never handed something a competitor also received.

Nothing forced through

If a month is thin, you hear that plainly. Padding the count with weak accounts wastes your time and ends the relationship.

How we work

Direct access. No layers. No handoffs.

Large agencies route your account through a project manager and a rotating bench of specialists. KaluConnect is built the other way around — a deliberately small roster, handled directly by the people who research your market.

One point of contact

Whoever reads your intake form is the same one writing the outreach and sending your briefs. Nothing gets handed off or lost in translation.

Limited capacity

The roster is capped on purpose. When it's full, it's closed — your market never gets squeezed in alongside twenty others.

Straight answers

If a month was slow, you hear that. If your market looks like a poor fit before we start, you hear that too — before you've paid anything.

No management layer

You're not paying for status meetings or a quarterly slide deck. You're paying for research, outreach, and the conversations that come out of it.

Industries

KaluConnect is the system. These are our first verticals.

The method is the same everywhere — what changes is who the buyer is, what triggers the need, and where the opportunity shows up first. We've started with three sectors where that map is clear.

Worth doing the math

How many contracts would make this worth it?

Put in what an average contract is worth to you. The answer is usually a smaller number than people expect — which is the whole argument for outbound in the first place.

One contract covers 35 months

A single closed deal at that value pays for nearly three years of the program.

This is arithmetic on your numbers, not a forecast. We don't know how many contracts your market will produce — nobody does — which is why plans are priced on the work we complete, not on results we can't control.

Pricing

You're buying worked accounts, not a list of names.

A worked account is researched, matched against your profile, its decision-maker identified, contacted under your name, and followed up. Every plan is capped by how many of those we complete each month.

Month to month · No annual contract · Cancel before the next renewal

Do you have results to show?

Not yet — the company is new and there's no point pretending otherwise. That's why there's no annual contract and nothing to sign: you can leave any month, and the first month is the test.

Why count accounts instead of guaranteeing leads?

Because we control the work, not the market. We can promise that 60 accounts get researched, contacted and followed up properly. We can't promise how many of them are ready to buy this month — anyone who does is guessing, and you'd be paying for the guess.

How many opportunities does that usually produce?

Typically two to four a month on Starter, though it moves with the market and the season. You'll see the full picture either way: every account worked, every reply, and what came of it.

Do you only work with those three industries?

No. Those are the verticals we've mapped first, so we can move fastest there. The method works for any B2B company with a defined buyer — tell us what you sell and we'll say honestly whether we can help.

How much of my time does this take?

An intake form at the start, roughly ten minutes. After that, reading briefs as they arrive and a weekly summary email. If you'd rather not be on calls, you never have to be.

What if a month produces very little?

You'll be told directly, with what was worked and what came back. Commercial cycles have slow stretches. Filling the gap with accounts that don't fit is the fastest way to lose you as a client.
